Quick update folks!
Adrienne and I are now participating in our first training event with The Organization. An online forum has been created to discuss various topics related to beginning our new life in missions.
For the next six weeks, we will be studying, doing homework, reading, and discussing issues like spiritual health, parenting kids overseas, partnership development, etc. All of this will be accomplished remotely via the Web. Week 7 and 8 will see us in Orlando, attending workshops and wrapping our heads and hearts around everything we are about to do! It is an indoctrination of sorts, as we will be made familiar with The Organization, it's policies and goals, etc.
If you are of the praying sort, we would ask that you remember us in this time! We will need prayer for: extra energy to complete the work. Patience with each other and Ben. Renewed spiritual growth. Discipline to accomplish our new goals.

START FROM THE FIRST POST: THE REASON WHY. This blog is meant to be a journal of our experiences of our time with "The Organization" in Papua New Guinea (Prudency requires the name to be withheld). From application, to membership, to the time we leave, we hope to make this an accurate reflection of our activities, emotions, and spiritual walk as we follow God's call to "go and make disciples of all nations".
